About wheat

This is the first of the seven species that Israel was blessed with. Since the beginning of times, wheat has been the most staple item because bread comes from it. Wheat is the symbol of richness and generosity. When there's wheat in the house - the house has everything. Wheat is accepted in conventional medicine as the most affective in helping vomiting, sore throats, digestive system and an overall strengthening of the body. The fiber of the wheat is good for treating skin problems and fungus, itching and allergies. The area where wheat grows, is greater than any other area in which sprouting occurs. Wheat is mainly grown in America, Russia and China. In Israel, wheat grows on over a million dunam. Every dunam produces 400 kgs of wheat annually. Wheat takes approximately 5 month to grow. In the main, wheat is grown for baking bread and other types of baking. It is also used to develop fiber for animals, to make lentils, starch and oil. The fiber and the straw that is separated from the wheat, is used for animals.
